Beaumaris Campus Book Club

Beaumaris Campus Book club members have had a busy week celebrating a successful year…

Yesterday students visited Bayside City Council, Beaumaris Branch Library.  Librarian Peter, chatted to students about books and asked for advice on books to place on the libraries suggested summer reading book list.  Peter introduced students to the databases available to students to help with studying.  It was a delightful morning and students enjoyed the book chat and morning tea.

This morning,  Mrs Holmsquest held a morning tea for book club members, to thank students for their input and enthusiasm in helping to  make books such an important part of Beaumaris Campus.

Book Club members have had a busy and fun 2012, talking about books, attending the Melbourne Writers festival, filming a book trailer, writing book reviews, organising the ‘murder in the library’ and making poems from book titles.

Students read their poems at todays morning tea.
