3C9 Multicultural Melbourne
Yr 9 students visit the Turkish Islamic Education Centre and Mosque to learn about the principles of Islam.
3C9 introductory day
Yesterday all year 9 students had a fantastic day learning about 3C9 and what’s in store for the year. The day culminated in an orientation activity to ricketts point. Then some beach activities. All students were great and we all look forward to a positive year.

Today some of the year 9 students were fortunate enough to head to the Melbourne aquarium. Check out the photos!
Music performance at the state library!
There was some interesting piano playing performed at the State Library today. Year 9 students from the Sandringham 7-10 campus all visited the library today as part of their 3C9 City Experience. They learnt about the history of the library and some of the history of Melbourne.

Beaumaris Campus 3C9s visit Parliament House
Last Thursday Beaumaris Campus 3C9s joined a tour of Victorian State Parliament House, it was very inspiring and informative. Students got to sit in both the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council as well as viewing the Parliament Library.
3C9 Beaumaris Campus-City Experience
Beaumaris Campus Year 9 students shivered through ‘Koorie Heritage Trail’ presentation ‘Walkin’ Birrarung’. Guide Dean, took students on a journey back through time. Students learnt the history and importance of the land to The Kulin People and the impact of white settlement.
3C9 city experience – federation
Students are once again enjoying the city. Today, students of 9A have enjoyed screen worlds at ACMI and are now taking part in the federation experience. They are acting out different roles in the federation of Australia. As you can see by the photos, they’re living it.
