Book club is well and truly underway on the Beaumaris Campus. Students are working on The Readers Cup. They have been given two books to read: Legend by Marie Lu and The saga of Larten Crepsley: Birth of a killer by Darren Shan. Once they have read these books they will form teams to compete in the cup. The first part will be answering trivial pursuit type questions based on both books. The Year 10 students in the club will be making these up. They will then be asked to create a piece of work based on one of the books, it could be a poster, a book trailer a picture book, it is up to their creative and imaginative minds. We will then celebrate with a literary lunch.
