Great Victorian bike ride update – day 3

Today we got up at 5 with luckily no rain to be seen. Everything still soaking from the night before and we stuffed it straight into our luggage. Ready for the road. It was a fast flowing decline, with all riders taking advantage of the cooler conditions and the sweet sweet downhill. We quickly hit our first rest stop with smiles all round. Then straight onto a small climb which seemed like an anthill compared to yesterday. Zooming straight up the hill and the kilometers seemed to be clocking up easily. Into lunch and the heat started to kick in. The train departed from lunch and the destination was Moyhu. Unfortunately the train suffered some heat problems and the longer distance tested a few. But all students pushed through to the 92km distance. An extremely impressive effort. At night we played some lawn bowls and took in some of the local musical talent.
