The International Language Centre students have been busy this week planning and preparing an International buffet for themselves and staff. The students first presented a PowerPoint presentation where they introduced the foods and eating habits of their country of origin to the class. Their English skills were developed further by the translation of home recipes and the writing of food orders for the forthcoming practical session. The students each had 90 minutes to cook their dish for the banquet and as can be seen from the photos they produced a range of interesting and delicous products for everyone to sample. Most importantly, the students really had a fantastic time. They were proud of their achievements and I was proud of them.
