The last two weeks have been busy for the year 9 challenge students. Today we were fortunate enough to be taken by Warren from Bike Now on a cycling challenge through the dandenongs. What a challenge it was. We went up a very steep hill with a gradient of 27% for quite some time. Then once we got to the top we were rewarded with a fantastic downhill track. All students returned very muddy and happy.
When we weren’t cycling we were taken on a tour behind the scenes at Puffing Billy where we fortunate to see steam trains being restored behind the scenes.
Last week the students stepped up to the Masterchef challenge. They produced some amazing meals in a short amount of time. They travelled to Coles with a $5 per person budget. Purchased their goods, then prepared and cooked their food on a BBQ and trangias. As you can see from the pictures attached, all students did an amazing job. well done!
