Year 11 Math Methods students competed to make a box that could hold the maximum volume. They were only allowed an A4 piece of paper, scissors and sticky-tape. Jacky was the clear winner with his box having a capacity of 1118cm3. Students checked Jacky’s solution using the calculus skills they have been learning this term. It looks like Sandringham College has many budding engineers!
