This year our VET students have again won the maximum number of prestigious Australian Vocational Student Prizes allowed per school from the Federal Government!
Congratulations to the following students who won one of these prestigious (& lucrative at $2000) prizes.

- Holly O’Donnell for her SBAT with ATEP to gain Certificates II & III in Tourism as part of Mornington Peninsula Tourism Pilot Program
- Dylan Keyt for his Certificate IV in Printing & Graphic Arts (Multimedia) SBAT with 26P Pty Ltd. Dylan also completed a Certificate III in Information Technology the previous year (delivered on campus – teacher Jason Keyt)
- Jack Thompson for VET Music (Certificate III in Music Industry (Technical Production)) – delivered on campus – teacher Ben Pisani & partial Certificate IV In Screen the year before – again delivered on campus – teacher Rob Neale
Every year since the inception of the Australian Vocational Student Prize in 2005, every student we have nominated has won one of these awards (two per year in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 – and four in 2009, 2010 and again in 2011, now that we are finally allowed four nominations!). And twice our students have taken out the Prime Minister’s Award for Victoria!
Thanks to all the VET staff at Sandringham – and to ATEP & 26P – for again making Sandringham College a great place to do VET!
