Invitation to an Art & Design Day- SWINBURNE UNIVERSITY
All senior students interested in art and design courses, are invited to attend the Art and Design Day being held in these upcoming school holidays. The event is designed for students to give them a taste for the actual course they might be interested in by taking part in hands-on workshops. The workshops are directly linked to the courses being offered at Swinburne – so students can explore areas such as: Communication design, Digital media design, Graphic design, Industrial design, Interior design, Performing arts, Product design engineering, Theatre arts and technical production, Visual arts
Date: Thursday 5 April 2012 Time: 9.00am – 4.00pm
Venue: Prahran campus, 144 High Street in Prahran- As places are limited, students are encouraged to register online as soon as possible.
Registrations close Friday 30 March 2012. Lunch will be provided and any special dietary requirements can be specified when registering.
Work Experience in Medical Research- Monash Institute of Medical Research (MIMR) offers a limited number of Work Experience placements, each of one week duration, for secondary school students throughout the year. The Work Experience programme is offered to high achieving science (focus on biology and chemistry) secondary school students with a particular interest in a career in science and medical research..
